Well, given the fact that this game has multiple endings, the replay value is very high. I'd compare the production of Metro 2033 with that of the original Bioshock. And for me, Bioshock never disappointed.

I'm sure they will eventually port it over. That or you can read the novel that the game was based off of, in the meantime :)

I disagree with the lack of art direction. The premise is supposed to be a post-apocalyptic Russian underground Metro system. I think the colors portray the scenario very well. Likewise with Killzone 2: an apocalyptic-dead planet.

Honestly, I am pretty sure that the FPS crowd and RPG or HacknSlash crows are mostly mutually exclusive from one another (in a general sense). As a result, I don't think FF13 or GOW3 will dramatically affect the sales of this game. I highly suspect that the game will fair very well on the 360.

wooooooooow, from reading the primarily notes on the update, it looks like A LOT of farmers are gonna get pissed off. But, for good reason...Perma-Sins are way overpowering in the farming/speed clearing meta. I've seen countless people with assassin obsidian armor and practically every rare item imaginable. This'll definitely rub a lot of people the wrong way, but the community has survived the Griffon Farming Nerf and Ursanway Nerf, so I don't see how it can't survive a Perma-Sin Nerf.

Square might have sold rights to make the game to Namco Bandai. That's the only way I can think of.

And how would you know that? Did you do an in depth study of the correlation and relation between being an NBA fan and being a jrpg fan? I am pretty sure that the company knows what it is doing when targeting a certain demographic in terms of marketing. Additionally, the goal is to raise awareness and interest in the game even for those who are not jrpg fans. By achieving this goal of attracting non-jrpg players and jrpg players they are adding more potential sales to their system.

I don't know what there is to chuckle about. They are providing an extra controller so a customer who purchases a game that has co-op doesn't have to buy another controller in the future. More value added items in the bundle, isn't something I see as hilarious. Or maybe I don't have a sense of humor eh? :\

That is horrible, but I can't help laughing at such a thought xD

Well I respectfully disagree with the fact that you think Lens of Truth is nonsense. Their primary goal is to select the version which excels in performance. Notice that performance =/= whichever version has the best graphics. One game can have 720p native resolution with 4xAA, but if it can barely reach above 15 fps then I do not see the reason why this version is superior. So, Lens of Truth compares and picks the corresponding version based on the performance which is a combination of aesth...

I have a feeling that might be their intended purpose. This game might coincide with the release of Arc and Natal to display the motion sensing capabilities of each product.

Well on a scale basis, development costs for a handheld are usually dramatically lower than development cost for a console. As a result, the breakeven point for sales will also be dramatically lower. As long as they sell enough (doesn't have to be a million+ necessarily), they should stand to make a nice profit.

The problem is that they do not show the sales of titles outside of the top 10 range. Additionally, they do not provide information such as such as lifetime sales frequently. Therefore, we are unable to track the sales of games after 3 months because they completely drop off the charts. As a result, NPD/GFK/Media Create isn't entirely useful to judge as well. VGC numbers track them after month 3 and gives us a rough idea of how games are doing in their lifetime. THAT is something that we don'...

And we don't care for your idiotic comment because it is completely off topic. So, reported as off topic.

ON TOPIC** Can't wait for GOW3 to come out. Til then, the demo will have to hold me over.

It's more than that in my opinion. Since they had the rights to Batman AA, that proved to be another definite booster in terms of US and EU sales. And like Chris said, the DS DQ was another heavy hitter. Square Enix pretty much dominated in both handheld and console platforms with those 3 games.

4 of 4 stars? A lot of movie critics do 4 star scoring.
